This is a hot?pluggable SFP+ (10G) module with an RJ45 (copper) 10?Gbps port. In other words: if you have a device with an SFP+ slot (typically designed for fiber or 10?G electrical modules) and you want to connect it via standard copper RJ45 (Cat6a/Cat7) at up to 10?Gbps, this module enables that.
